Deckard - Dreams of Dynamite and Divinity

Scots four-piece named after Blade Runner hero, Deckard witnessed their previous incanation, Baby Chaos, sink into a major-label quagmire. So there's a strong sense of packing in as much as possible on Dreams Of Dynamite And Divinity, lest it all goes tits up again.

As the title suggests, it's an elaborate guitar rock record, full of intricate, climactic songs that veer from the thrashy attack of To Your Soul to the sing-along Holy Rolling.

Deckard's pop sensibilities avoid blow-out and with the affecting, smouldering anthem Grace's Estate demonstrating a more rootsy side, Dreams Of Dynamite And Divinity delivers punchy innovation and soul.
